glow rings instead of per-pulse shadowBlur) plus a committed bun
patch adding textInsetX/textFitWidth (left-align the mask to the
content column, cap word size vs band height) and pulse.laneFraction
(~1% of streams carry pulses). Board renders at a dpr-normalized
1400px backing store and CSS-stretches full-bleed; band edges fade
